In 2024, Te Puna Aonui is developing the second Te Aorerekura Action Plan, drawing on the latest research, recent engagements with communities, and lessons from the first Action Plan (2021-2023).
The second Te Aorerekura Action Plan is an opportunity to ensure government agencies are focused on the most impactful changes to the family violence and sexual violence system. Ministers have requested a 5-year plan with around 10 actions.
Te Puna Aonui Business Unit will run a targeted engagement process to test the direction with key stakeholders and the Action Plan will be published later in the year.
